Thought he would enjoy it and get exercise too. Evidently I have a lazy or very smart cat, he just lays there and catches string when it comes around. No leaping and trying to catch it
My cat was really excited about this toy and loves strings which is why I got it for her. It is a cute idea but the string hangs a lot and the unit stops moving. The toy really goes thru a lot of batteries if you don't watch when this happens. Also, I think my cat is getting a bit tired of it already.
While I'm not there to see them 24 x 7, I am told that the kitties LOVE the Flin-ama-String toy -- the male, Buster, just sits and waits for his human to turn it on. Who knows how long it will last or if or when they'll get bored with it, but it was a hit as a gift.
Fun - my cats like it
Our cat who weighs 15 pounds and the product held up nicely
Well-made toy held cat's interest
My cake "Pancakes" loves it
Bought it for my daughter's 2 Maine coons. They like it, so it's good!
Arrived in perfect condition and works as it is supposed to, to the pleasure (fascination) of our cat! No problems at all.
My cat is interested in this toy where she ignores so called catnip toys. The only improvement might be if it made some type of noise so she would stay active longer. It could be less expensive.
My cat really likes it. It really grabs his attention and he stares at it most of the time when it's on. He has tried to get the string a few times. But I find batteries don't last long in these types of toys would be my only negative comment.
This Cat Toy has kept my finnicky cats very intrigued. They act like kittens again! Great, brilliant toy!!!
Goes too fast for the cat. Not a bad idea, but our cat finds no use for it.
I'm always skeptical of "great" items for pets. It seems like the reviews rave and the pet is singularly unimpressed! Well, the "fling-ama-String Cat Toy" lived up to expectations! Just like in the video, our cat has much fun playing with it. She's still trying to figure it out! And she hasn't gotten bored with it yet. Ingenious item for sure!
Finally something that our three cars are interested in and play with. I like that I can just flip a switch and don't have to do the entertaining myself. The cats playing with this entertains me! It seems to be made well since there's a lot of fierce tugging going on and yet it's still in one piece.
Our cat is enjoying it and it is fun to watch her.
My cat absolutely LOVES this toy! He cried when I put it away. (He was driving me nuts to turn it back on, so had to hide it.) I ordered 2 more for my daughter's cats and my brother's (very overweight) cat. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
Bought it thinking of being gone and wanting entertainment stations for kitty - but it requires supervision, has to be turned on and off. However, one of our two cats LOOOOVVVEES it. Will come running from other room when she hears it start up. Can't resist. The other cat hasn't come near, but it may be a territorail thing. Kind of expensive but very fun toy.
With three cats, one wants to take over, the other two wait until he tires out then they play. Great for about 15 minutes at a time.
I admittedly have a very picky cat, but this toy that I thought would interest her was worth about 2 minutes of curiosity and then as soon as she caught it once, she was done. I sent it back, but other less picky cats might love it
My cat loves this! He'll sit by it and meow until I turn it on. What an amazing cat toy. It's worth every penny.
The string did not make my cat jump like the one pictured, but she did at least watch it rather like people watch TV. It would have been worthwhile to keep her entertained, but after four or five months it has quit working. I may buy another because she does miss it.
It looked like great fun, but it seems to frighten our cat. He won't have anything to do with it.
I have purchased many a toy for my cats over the years. Some they played with for awhile, and some they ignored all together. Not this toy though... Both of my cats love to catch the string and hold it down. If I have it off, I will find them sitting next to the toy looking at me (there way of telling me to turn it on). We have had it a little over a month and they are still playing daily with it. It has held up under some pretty tough pulls from the cats and has banged against the door more than once. I think it is great and well worth the money if your cats love strings.
