I rented this video and a lot of others, but this one was the only video that demonstrated the man's part and the woman's part separately like you would get in a class. But since it's a DVD, you can replay the section over and over, until you get it right - which is just like a private lesson. I use this video between lessons and dancing socially, to refine my technique. I just wish there was a follow up video filmed the same way.

The dance steps presented are easy to follow and learn, and can be used as building blocks for further study in dance. Meredith and LaPatin are accomplished dancers with a style that any dancer would love to copy. I purchased this set when I was first learning Ballroom Dance, and I still enjoy and profit from watching this video. This video proves that one can learn to dance from videos. My only regret is that Meredith and LaPatin did not produce more videos giving further lessons on dance.
