Had seen one episode on PBS, so I wanted the entire story. Former police officer turned private eye, Brody is portrayed very well by Jason Isaacs. Haunted by a sad childhood, he throws himself into finding missing people (and pets). Focus is on the human story behind the cases. His personal life also evolves with quite a few "bumps" along the way. Excellent dialogue, filmed professionally (easy on the eyes),very minimal gore, some violence but no gratuitous blood. Full of little plot turns, never predictable.

Excellent

I had watched the series last year and was sorry to see it go off the air. I love good detective stories and this one is well acted with Jason Isaacs (Harry Potter). I found this DVD in the Acorn catalog and realize that there were two more shows I had not seen. It is a continuing story so don't miss a one. I would give this a 5 star rating.
