Disc 1
Episode 1:The Search for the Carpathia
On April 15, 1912, the passenger liner RMS Carpathia bravely raced through ice-choked waters to save the survivors of the Titanic. Sunk by a German U-boat six years later, it might still lie somewhere off the Irish coast. The Sea Hunters aim to find its final resting place.

Episode 2:The Search for Andrea Gail
Immortalized by the bestseller and hit movie The Perfect Storm, the swordfishing boat Andrea Gail sank somewhere in the North Atlantic in the monstrous meteorological confluence of 1991. The Sea Hunters try to provide closure for the crew’s friends and family by probing a fabled ships’ graveyard for the boat’s remains.

Episode 3:Catherine the Great’s Treasure Ship
Laden with artistic masterpieces bound for the Russian empress’s collection, the Vrouw Maria sank in 1771 and now lies almost perfectly preserved on the Baltic seabed. Working with the Maritime Museum of Finland, the Sea Hunters attempt to answer key questions: Did the paintings survive? And are they salvageable?

Disc 2
Episode 4:Russalka: The Czar’s Lost Ironclad
The flagship of Czar Nicholas II’s navy, the Russalka mysteriously vanished in 1893. Apparently defying gravity and physics, it seems to have sunk vertically and now stands upright in the ice-cold waters off Estonia. The Sea Hunters explore this odd wreck, perhaps the best-preserved example of a sunken ironclad.

Episode 5:Lost at Sea: The Great U.S. Navy Airships Akron and Macon
Facing the technical challenge of finding light aluminum structures after almost 70 years underwater, the Sea Hunters search for the remains of the Akron and Macon—two dirigibles that fell into the sea a continent apart in the 1930s. They represented the Navy’s last experiments in deploying flying aircraft carriers.

Episode 6:The Search for the SS Alabama
During the American Civil War, the Confederacy commissioned ships specifically designed to beat the Union blockade of Southern ports. The Sea Hunters look for examples of this evolution in naval warfare: the Nola and Mary Celestia, blockade runners built for speed, and the Alabama, the Confederacy’s deadliest raider.

Disc 1
Episode 1:Ship of Ice
Crackpot idea, or work of genius? To protect Allied convoys during World War II, eccentric scientist Geoffrey Pyke proposed a manmade island of ice as a floating airbase. Now, in the thin atmosphere of the Canadian Rockies, the Sea Hunters dive a mountain lake to find the ice island’s prototype.

Episode 2:Diving the V-2 Rocket Caves
Deep beneath a mountain in central Germany, the Sea Hunters probe the dark, murky depths of flooded underground tunnels carved from former gypsum mines by slave labor. There, safe from Allied bombing, the Nazis assembled Hitler’s ultimate weapon of vengeance: the deadly V-2 rockets that screamed toward London.

Episode 3:Leopoldville/Clayoquot: Death on Christmas Eve
In 1944, the Leopoldville set out from England with 2.200 troops to shore up Allied forces after the Battle of the Bulge. The Clayoquot sailed from Nova Scotia, protecting a convoy with a similar mission. An ocean apart, both ships fell victim to torpedoes on Christmas Eve. The Sea Hunters explore their remains.

Disc 2
Episode 4:Minesweeper Eddy, Heroes of the Night
In an attempt to seal off strategically important Malta, Axis forces repeatedly seeded its harbor with mines. Every night, however, minesweepers defied darkness and submerged danger to clear the sea lanes. Paying homage to such bravery, the Sea Hungers dive the wreck of the minesweeper Eddy.

Episode 5:The Sinking of the Wilhelm Gustloff
Long shrouded in Soviet secrecy, the remains of the German refugee ship Wilhelm Gustloff mark the largest maritime disaster in the history of the world, one that claimed more than 9,000 lives. Diving cold Baltic waters, the Sea Hunters become the first to explore the wreck and reveal their findings to the world.

Episode 6:Force Z
In late 1941, the HMS Prince of Wales and HMS Repulse joined three destroyers in the South China Sea to form Force Z, aiming to deter a Japanese invasion of the Malay Peninsula. But when enemy planes swarmed the two big ships like hornets, their sinking changed modern naval warfare.

Disc 3
Episode 7:Juno Beach: D-Day Underwater
The Sea Hunters undertake the first-ever survey of the depths off Juno Beach, site of Canadian forces’ assault on Hitler’s "Fortress Europe" on Jun 6, 1944. Facing strong tidal surges off the French coast, they explore the sunken remnants of the largest invading armada ever assembled.

Episode 8:Still on Patrol: The Hunt for Hitler’s U-Boat 215
In one of their most challenging dives, the Sea Hunters brave seven-knot currents of the Georges Bank to look of the mysterious, missing U-215. Could it be the same German sub that sank the Liberty ship Alexander Macomb in the early months of World War II before succumbing to British depth charges?
