Martin Clunes (Doc Martin) is on the run from the law in this saucy British romp—part bedroom farce, part crime caper. He’s manipulative, money-grubbing, and amoral, but is he a murderer? Winner of an International Emmy®, based on the book by Michael Dibdin (the Aurelio Zen mysteries), this delightful black comedy was seen on BBC America. “Hilarious (and decidedly naughty)”—Daily Telegraph (UK).

I liked seeing Martin Clune in a different roll

I Just started watching "Doc Marin" this year, I was so happy there were reruns so I could catch up on a lot of it. I was thrilled to be able to buy season 1, and now I am looking forward to the next season and I am hoping Martin and Louisa will work things out.

Very Disappointing

I was so put off by the stupid dialog and unnecessary sexual innuendo, that I didn't bother watching most of it. Too over the top for me.

Despite the talented actors, this is awful. They appear to have traded-in any good writing, for sophomoric sexual innuendos. Also, the characters are not crazy enough to be enjoyable, just crazy enough to be unbelievable.

Was a dark comedy that was pretty boring and the character was not one you could root for. Not really funny t me. Compared to Reggie Parrin

I'm a big Martin Klunes fan, since Men Behaving Badly. I bought this because it was on sale, and it sounded good, and it was! Some debauchery, which added to the hilarity, as did the multiple double entendres. A definite "must buy" for Martin Klunes fans!

I am a Martin Clunes fan and he is always good. DTs was entertaining, funny and the surprise at the end, funny, but a reward. I also like Julie Graham.

I bought this because I liked the Doc martin series. I was very dissapointed that the nudity and sexual acts were not mentioned. Mature audiences is a very vague discription to me. I would not have purchased this and feel this was a waste of my money and will dispose of this DVD.

Funny but dated!

This was just OK, I happen to admire Martin Clunes as an actor, otherwise I would certainly have sent this one back! Most of it was rubbish.
