Irish Walking Cape
I like this cape very much. It is made of a soft light-to-medium weight wool blend (with some cashmere). The hood is adequate in size to put over your head, however I should point out that it is just big enough and not oversized. It is suitable for autumn and spring weather, plus could be used in winter along with a warm sweater underneath. I bought the black model, and it looks elegant for formal as well as more casual occasions.
Pretty, but...
Pretty, but too much fabric with which to deal. Color not as expected. I can just see the wind blowing this cape every which way and me trying to control it. Much prefer the other cape I bought which was simpler in design and had a classic look and shape which made it more wearable.
Irish Cape
The fabric and color are as described. It is very warm if a sweater is worn underneath. I bought this as a quick cover-up and because coats with sleaves are difficult for me to put on.
Great Cape
I love this cape. It's long enough to rpovide a barrier against the wind. I wear jackets or suits underneath, and like its roominess and the fact that it's not TOO heavy. Comfortable and good loooking.

My wife received the cape as a Christmas gift and was delighted with it. Being made in Ireland (especially not China was an extra bonus.

Not Made In Ireland
Thought this was made in Ireland but tag on it suggests eastern Europe. Good quality but lighter weight than I thought it would be.

lovely cape
I wanted to get away from the coat and this cape just seemed to call to me. I am so pleased it does wonders to hide the extra pounds and it looks so pretty. I get lots of complements.

Irish Walking Cape
I have always wanted a 'red cape' and thought this product would meet my desires and needs.....It is a huge disappointment....The color is not anything like the photo and the material is not 'lush' at all....In fact, rather flimsy......I didn't return this item, because it felt like too much trouble, but I should have......Would definitely not recommend it....

The walking Cape is just lovely. The material has a lovely drape to it and the cape is very generously sized! I can't wait for some nippy weather so that I can wear it!

Received this cape as a gift and am very happy with it. It is a little more light weight than expected, however will work wonderfully for spring / fall. Not quite warm enough for Canadian winters.
Irish Walking Cape
I am happy with my red cape. I've been looking for one for a couple of years that was lightweight & had a lot of material that would drape nicely. I also like the fullness of the collar. The hood is not as big as I would like it to be.
Light and tight!
I've had this cape for several years now. It gets tons of complements. Yes it is very light weight for wool, but it's weave is very tight, so you stay warm on that spring day walk, fall outing, or summer evening. If it gets wrinkled, just throw it in the dryer on low for 5 minutes, and good as new! It even keeps me dry during a dash from the car to the store during a rain shower. My 25 year old daughter likes to wear it when she comes to visit. It's a class act!
This is my second!
I've been wearing my black cape for four years now and it still looks like new. Now I'm ordering the claret one. It's warm enough for Indiana winters if you wear long sleeves underneath. Stylish, garners lots of compliments and questions about where it came from, and fits more than a size 20. Highly recommend!

Absolutely love this! Rec'd as a gift and use it from Fall to the end of spring. Can be used casual or dress it up. It replaced another Cape which I was loath to let go of. This was a wonderful replacement!! Great for travel or home.

While the material was not as heavy as I anticipated, it is a beautifully made cape. Many who have seen it have inquired as to where the cape came from, and have commented on the material and the style.
For a size 14, not enough volume.
Pictured article gives appearance of volume, however, material did not give enough warmth.
What a Disappointment!
I returned this product immediately after opening it. It is basically a cheap-looking thin poncho with a hood, not a "walking cape" at all. I needed something to wear in a colder climate (I'm from Florida), but this was not warm at all. No lining, just stitched with a visible overlock stitch. What a disappointment!
Very attractive
Perfect for those autumn days when a winter coat is not necessary. Also the cape is dressy enough for that special occasion. I'm very happy with this purchase.
