Disc 1
Episode 1: The Engineer
Explosions topple mobile-phone towers in two cities. A motorist chatting on a cell phone dies in a drive-by shooting. A gunman targets callers on a Liverpool to London train, wreaking havoc. Relying on the scantest evidence to link the crimes, police zero in on Eddie Doig—a telecommunications engineer with an inoperable brain tumor and a serious grudge against his former employer.
Episode 2: The Soldier
In 2003, a hit-and-run driver kills Maurice Stoan’s wife and young son. The army sharpshooter finds himself robbed of his family as well as his lifelong dream—the chance to prove himself in combat, like his father and grandfather. Bereavement leave keeps him at home while his unit invades Iraq. Three years later, still simmering with anger, Stoan undertakes a much more personal war.
Disc 2
Episode 3: The Boss
During a merger with Oxident Telecom, self-made mobile-phone magnate Sir James Corson destroys the career of Oxident executive David West: seducing West’s teenage daughter, pilfering sensitive files, and blackmailing West into resignation. Quite by accident, Corson takes two other lives in the process. But returning to England a few years later, West proves even more ruthless in exacting his revenge.
Episode 4: The Showdown
Led by Detective Inspectors Lorraine Conil and George Fleming, police piece together evidence pointing to James Corson as the apparent mastermind of the Beelzebub conspiracy. As they close in, however, the terror campaign intensifies, toppling more towers, killing more people, and creating a national panic. On the run, Stoan learns the depths of his boss’s ruthlessness—and aims for vengeance of his own. | Packaging: Thinpak
