Pre-Decimal British Coins Set
The British are particular about their coins; so far, they have declined to join the Euro. Many think back fondly to the time when a pound equaled 240 pence, not 100. All of the circulated coins in this collection were minted before February 15, 1971, the day the currency was decimalized. Their denominations are the same as when Britannia ruled the waves. Mounted and framed in wood under glass, set includes a sixpence, farthing, shilling, penny, halfpenny, half crown, florin, silver threepence, and 12-sided brass threepence. 6" x 8", imported from the UK.
