Jeffersonian Rain Gauge
A marriage of art and science, this rain gauge is a nod to the genius of Thomas Jefferson, who loved gardening as much as politics. Crafted in brass, glass, and stainless steel, it uses a float-and-lever mechanism to move a pointer across a dial. As rain collects in the vial, the pointer shows how much has fallen at 1/10" intervals from 0" to 5 ½". Well-made gauge is 12 ½" wide, 42" tall. Mounts in soil or on your post. Stake and hardware included.
