Inukshuk
The inukshuk is a familiar sight in the barren and featureless Arctic Circle. Built by Inuit travelers, each is a landmark that aids in navigation. Silent witnesses to those who have passed before, beacons to those who come, these stone figures symbolize safety, hope, and friendship. The real thing on a smaller scale, our inukshuk is made from stones held by steel rods. Each is about 8 ½" high, and no two are alike.
