Wood Mosaic Box
First the box is made by hand, then the artistry begins: overlaying the top and sides with an intricate geometric mosaic. Each piece of wood (walnut, olive, apricot, lemon, rose) and mother-of-pearl is applied by hand, after which the box is finished with multiple coats of hand-rubbed lacquer. The inside has a velvety red lining with decorative edging. Perfect for storing jewelry or other small precious items. Made in Syria. 6" square, 2 ¼" high.
