The Conversation Piece
I wish I could include a photo of my sister after I gave her the elephant wine holder!! She loved the piece -- it's practical yet beautiful! We had a blast "playing with it." Sis pretended that she was drinking her wine straight from the bottle with the elephant attached! Only MINOR negative: I wish the actual carving of the elephant were a bit more distinct and vivid, just a bit too generic. For the price, however, it's a good deal; fun, useful and pretty darn cool!

Front is beautiful, nice carving
Love the wood and the carving on the front, con is the back isn't carved and I had to go back to the store and find a slimmer bottle of wine. I bought this as a gift and they loved it.

Elephant Wine Holder
The elephant wine holder is quite clever. I gave it to a freind who always places the 'empty' bottle on it's side to get the last drop of wine out. The elephant keeps the wine safe and it is fun to look at. Perfect gift for the one who has everything.
Wine holder carving
I was really disappointed that the elephant wasn't carved on all sides. You need to put it against a wall or at the back of the table and I was hoping to use it as a centerpiece for a wine and cheese table. What is carved is nice and I will find a way to display just the front, I guess.
A Wonderful Gift
This makes a wonderful present. I gave it to my friend who just returned from a great trip to South Africa and I thought it would help her to remember the great time she had while on safari.
Disappointed
Little did I know when I ordered the Lucky Elephant Wine Holder that the carving would be on only one side of the elephant! The opposite side is simply plain flat wood, which makes this product more useful as a bookend than a wine holder worthy of a place on a dinner table. This should have been made obvious to the unsuspecting buyer!
