This is a work of nonfiction, a series of interviews of noted anthropologist and comparative mythologist Joseph Campbell, by Bill Moyer, in the setting of George Lucas's Skywalker Ranch. Anyone familiar with his books - The Hero with a Thousand Faces, The Masks of God - or his lectures at Sarah Lawrence College or Columbia University will find these interviews enthralling. Campbell gently guides the reader/listener through the myths of dozens of civilizations and describes the compelling adventure of the individual life.
