"Like an old friend or a fine wine."
Five Stars - Betty from TX

Homicide, blackmail, greed, and betrayal: just a taste of what goes on behind the well-trimmed hedges of Midsomer County.  Inspired by the novels of Caroline Graham, "the best detective writer since Agatha Christie" (Sunday Times, UK), this British series is deliciously sinister and darkly humorous.

I've purchased all three "sets" (covering episodes 1 through 12) and I've become a Barnaby addict. I can't go tp sleep at night until I've had my Somerset fix. The characters are unique and refreshing. I can't wait for the fourth and fifth sets to be released (covering episodes 13 through 19). Please hurry so I can see them all. They are a must for anyone's DVD collection.

Barnaby is always entertaining

We always enjoy the Midsomer stories. They are suspensful but still have a fun touch of humor. John Nettles can't be beat.

Love this show

I really liked being able to see the shows in ORDER and thus watching the characters mature and change. When it was airing on PBS or BBC America, I missed some episodes or saw them out of order and didn't understand where the new Sgt. came from or when he appeared. Some people don't have access to those channels and this is their best chance to watch and appreciate the show.
